How many types of TradingView are there?

First of all, we have the browser-based version (TradingView.com):

We have the desktop type, also (TradingView desktop, my favorite one):

TradingView desktop works in Windows, macOS, and Linux, too.

There’s also a mobile version:

TradingView mobile is available in Google Play and App Store.

Another relevant aspect: TradingView web and desktop are programmable through a language called “Pine Script”.

What does TradingView offer you?

TradingView is a platform that lets you create a chart of a financial asset, helps you customize it by adding indicators, and, finally, to produce technical analysis (with hundreds of pre-built studies, and a set of intelligent drawing tools).

Every aspect is fully customizable.

You can access stocks, Forex, futures, indices, Crypto coins, and CFDs (through many different data feeds).

As I mentioned, you can test your trading strategies, by programming them in Pine Script.

TradingView offers:
  • Chart+ (its wonderful graphic chart function).
  • Screeners (its live spreadsheet full of statistics about Stock, Forex, and Crypto).
  • Heatmaps (its general graphic view about Stock and Crypto).
The graphic is excellent, and the general picture is immediately clear.

TradingView Community

This is the most innovative and exciting part of the platform.

There are Live streams (for traders and investors), trading and educational ideas, and an extensive database of Pine Script codes.

The news

TradingView is an excellent collector of news, well-grouped for every financial sector (Stocks, Crypto, Forex, Indices, Futures, Bonds, Economy):

How expensive is TradingView?

TradingView is free for anyone to use.

There are paid subscriptions that increase the number of functions and instruments you can use:

Conclusions and suggestions

Takeaways:
  • Any personal device with an internet browser can access TradingView. You don’t need to install any software.
  • There’s a considerable amount of financial instruments available.
  • You can access the majority of features with a free account.
  • Advanced users can create custom indicators and automated trading systems (saved to TradingView’s servers) using Pine Script, TradingView’s custom coding language that is easy to use.
  • The community becomes larger every day and constantly increases the content available.

Downsides:

  • TradingView has incorporated some brokers and trading platforms, but, at the moment, it’s not possible to execute automated orders.

Suggestions:
  • Start testing the platform immediately using a free account!

A sincere wish of good work to all!
