Also champion traders are testing ChatGPT!

I hope you have read the first and the second of these multiple posts about ChatGPT.

You know that ChatGPT can be used as an assistant in programming the code of automatic trading systems and I found out that famous trader Kevin Davey is also trying it this way (look this video).

Kevin Davey is a champion trader (that's how he defines himself) with a very great experience in algorithmich trading; these are his results in Robbins Cup:

In the aforementioned video, Kevin asked ChatGPT a very interesting question: "Give me Tradestation code for an Andrea Unger style trading algo strategy (Andrea Unger is another famous champion trader) and obtained a code that, in reality, Andrea would never have written!

I couldn't resist the temptation and so I too asked ChatGPT a series of similar questions:

Kevin is well-known by ChatGPT as well!

So, give me a good code!

Surprise.
No code, unlike Davey's video.

Perhaps ChatGPT learned from the discussion with Kevin; in any case, the answer is more correct than providing improbable code.

Conclusions

Kevin Davey comes to these clever observations:

I'm 100% agree!

ChatGPT can help, but you must do the job.

It's fundamental to learn how to program your trading platform, how to backtest the trading systems, and how to judge the metrics that you obtain.

It's a long and difficult path, I know it, but with good teachers like Kevin you can get a good satisfaction.

A sincere wish of good work to all!
